Steps to turn on a laptop using the motherboard

    If you’re wondering how to switch on a laptop without the power button then you can easily do it by using the motherboard. Now follow the steps to turn on laptop using motherboard:-

    1. Firstly open the bottom cover of the laptop using screwdrivers.
    2. Then carefully remove the motherboard using proper tools.
    3. Now make sure that all connections are intact after you remove the motherboard from the chassis.
    4. Then remove the connections between the motherboard and the power key.
    5. Now finally short pin 1 and pin 3 with the help of a wire to turn on your laptop.
